Vivo is closing off 2020 with the addition of the Vivo X60 series to its portfolio. The Vivo X60 series is a successor to the Vivo X50 series launched earlier this year. Both the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro have been unveiled today with Samsung’s latest Exynos 1080 chipset and Zeiss optics onboard.

Vivo X60 Pro features a 6.56-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel touts a 2376 × 1080-pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, peak brightness up to 1300 nits, HDR10+ support, and a lot more.
Vivo X60 Pro is the “first smartphone to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC.” It is the Korean giant’s first 5 nm chipset. Exynos 1080 is an octa-core chipset with 4 Cortex-A78 cores and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. It is coupled with Mali-G78 MP10 GPU and supports dual-mode (SA/NSA) 5G connectivity.
The standard Vivo X60 has a second-gen Sony IMX598 48MP f/1.79 gimbal camera with a 4-axis OIS anti-shake and a closed-loop motor for impressive stabilization. It comes along with a 13MP f/2.2 120° ultra wide angle camera and a 13MP f/2.46 50mm telephoto camera.
The Pro Model has the same Sony IMX598 48MP gimbal camera but with an f/1.48 aperture size and 7P lens. It also has 4-axis OIS and a closed-loop motor. The 13MP f/2.2 ultra wide angle camera has a distortion correction feature so the field of view after correction drops from 120° to 108°. Along with the 13MP telephoto camera, it also has an 8MP f/3.4 periscope camera that provides 5x optical zoom and up to 60x superzoom. Both phones have a 32MP f/2.45 selfie camera.
Both the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro will be available in three color variants – black, white, and an iridescent bluish purple.
According to sources, the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro price will be approximately between RM1946 to RM2360.
